Our story

We are two sisters who grew up on rom-coms.

You know — those moments where the main character bumps into someone in a café, shares a smile, and suddenly a story begins.

But the reality? Too often we end up stuck behind screens, swiping, scrolling, and wondering why making the first move feels harder than ever. So, we started digging. We read studies, articles, personal stories, started conversations — and found that people everywhere nowadays are feeling the same: dating app fatigue, burnout, loneliness, frustration. Many have given up on dating altogether.

We came across numbers that really hit us: a survey showed that 75% of singles say they would prefer meeting their partner offline, in real life. In another, 78% of women said they wish they were approached more, while 62% of men say they wish they approached more often.

The desire for a real-life encounter is strong — but at the same time, people are too afraid to make the first move in person. Fear of rejection, fear of interrupting someone, fear of being seen the “wrong way” have become real hurdles. In a world where people don't approach each other anymore, how are they supposed to meet offline?

So we decided to do something about it: We started Single & Seen, for those who feel like dating apps are not for them and want to meet in the wild instead.

We believe meeting people should be fun, fearless, and natural again. Not defined by profiles or quizzes — but by proximity, curiosity, and opportunity. So we developed the first ever product for organic dating, FlirtNotes™: discreet dating cards that help you make the first move in a way that feels natural. Approaching someone in the wild has never been this easy — no words needed.

And this is just the beginning.
